Chadron State College (CSC) switched online orientation software as the preferred onboarding technology. CSC, one of three public colleges in Nebraska, recently announced the launch of their new online orientation program after switching to Advantage Orientation®. In response to 2020 health guidelines, summer orientation events were cancelled. The orientation team at CSC opted to implement an alternative product. Upon evaluation, they decided to “move forward with Advantage Design Group instead as their solution provided a more robust and interactive" onboarding technology.
With Advantage Orientation®, students learn over time, on their own time, from any device. Because of its unique design and functionality, orientation professionals have the flexibility to adapt to any onboarding strategy, whether they need to provide orientation information completely online, orient students in advance of an on-campus experience, or somewhere in between.
Since launching their Advantage Orientation® this spring, CSC is welcoming, informing, and engaging new first-year, transfer, and graduate students with a personalized and relevant orientation experience. Student engagement and readiness are high. Data indicates an aggregate completion rate of just over 83% to date and survey responses (98.9%) indicate students believe they received the information they needed and are prepared to start college.
